Pat O’Leary’s ceramic Salt Pig is the ideal kitchen companion. Sculptural in form, the ceramic salt cellar comes with an accompanying spoon that is comfortable to use. 

Pat O’Leary’s deceptively simple pieces are finished with opaque gloss and semi-matt glazes. O’Leary is interested in simple contemporary forms with contrasting finishes. Each piece is glazed only on the inside, while the raw clay finish of the exterior emphasises the clean lines and the shape and texture of each vessel.

Of her work, O’Leary says, “as I am making, I like to imagine how the piece will be used and how it will be held.”
